Every year for the last 8 years, I have photographed the Walls family. I have seen them grow from Gabbie and Darren, to adding Seb, then Matthew and finally Hayley. I have seen the children grown from newborns, toddlers and starting school. Every year we meet, we talk, we laugh, we play and we share some wonderful family moments. I am so privileged to have families who started as clients and have become friends I will have forever. Thanks guys for inviting me into all the big moments in your lives, along with the smaller moments we make as well! I look forward to spending time with you every time!
20 years ago (ekkk!) I knew Louise at high school. Friends for many years we have chatted online across states. Recently Louise moved back and I was invited to spend the afternoon with her beautiful family and welcome Miss Jordyn!
Such a pleasure seeing you guys and capturing your family moments. Cooper is totally smitten with his new baby sister and is such fun in front of the camera! Jordyn is gorgeous and a perfect addition to your amazing family!
Thank you for sharing your afternoon with me! I can’t wait to do it again sometime soon! Xxx
It’s a very big day when I became an Aunty. Not only was this my first nephew and my daughters first cousin – but my baby sister became a mumma. I felt like I would burst with love! So of cause, I gave the gift I am best at and captured images of Max at a tiny 12 days old. He was the most perfect of ‘clients’ and slept almost the entire time. And when not sleeping, he was watching me, sharing all the secrets of the universe. (I am emotional just writing!) I am so happy you are here Max. Your mum and dad love you beyond words can ever say – and the rest of your family are totally head of heels! We have been waiting a long time for you – welcome little buddy! I cant wait to share your life with you! Xxx
A couple weeks a go I enjoyed a creative portrait session with this little beauty. Something different and fun, we spent time in an abandoned warehouse and the field next door.
Lovely to spend time shooting for fun and capturing some really beautiful images.
These are only a quick sneak peek as I have something special in mind for these!!!
A couple weeks ago I get this lovely little facebook message asking if I remembered her form a few years back and how much she loved my shots.
Kim was getting married in three weeks (spontaneous like both her and Vincent she said!) and would I be free to share their day. I am so glad I was!
Kim promised a relaxed, fun day in which I would be able to float around and photograph mostly documentary style. They didn’t want the formal shots, they wanted only their real story their nearest and dearest.
This is my perfect wedding and I loved sharing everything with them. I was able to capture so much and all mostly from the edges of sight. At times, they forgot I was there and all the jokes, laughter and tears flowed more freely.
I love to be able to fade into the background while not missing a thing. With a knack of allowing events to take place outside of me, I am able to capture everything as it truly is.
Not every wedding is like this. By nature, wedding days are usually more formal, strict and a bit stressful, although still beautiful and moving. Kim and Vincent found the perfect way to manage the stresses while being themselves.
The speeches at both the ceremony and reception were heart felt and funny. I loved hearing all the history Kim and Vincent have shared together. I did chuckled more then once behind my lens! (And must amit to sweaty eyes too!)
Congratulations on your amazingly beautiful, emotional, memorably spontaneous wedding. May your lifetime be without murder J
