The essentialness of collaboration!
Recently both Ellen and I worked with a group of other very talented wedding professionals from Newcastle, Hunter Valley and the Central Coast.
This shoot was EPIC!!!! We had the most amazing dresses, decorations, cake, catering, flowers, makeup, models and video! The whole day was fun, inspiring and uplifting.
Why do we do this?
We believe its essential.
By working together with other industry professionals we stay up with trends, ahead of the game, we are able to bounce ideas, create new concepts and try them out. We understand more of what the other serves all do, how better we can all work together and the best way to support each other, so we can all, in turn, support our brides.
When we work together and collaborate we create a strong industry, which is inclusive, professional, the best we can be and we look after each other as well as our clients. Often working on the wedding industry as a provider you do so alone, we are all small businesses pulling together for the one big day. Collaborative days such as this means we also get to build our own industry social networks, catch up with old friends and meet new ones. We can share common experiences from weddings and talk about how to improve overall.
On this day, we all grew, learned and were inspired!
