Wedding Photography: Sarah and Luke’s Wedding in Fiji – Photography by Natural Lights Photography
Over 12 months ago, I received a call from a very dear friend of mine. I have known Sarah my entire life (our mums used to hang out at mothers club way back when!) and Sarah and I have supported each other through ups and downs in both our lives. I was absolutely delighted to hear she love Luke had proposed!!! A real dream come true and I was so thrilled for them both. So happens I also know Luke from high school so I knew he met the grade! Sarah also informed me their wedding was going to be in Fiji! (I felt like all Christmas has come at once!!)
12 months on and I still can not believe what an amazingly beautiful and perfect wedding this was for Sarah and Luke. Fiji is beyond beautiful – not just in the landscape and oceans but also within the warmth of the people. Everything at the Outrigger Resort was taken care of and everyone ensured the day was unforgeable for all the right reasons.
We started with prep for both Sarah and Luke in their rooms, which was so relaxed and very fitting with island time! The local acoustic choir at the ceremony lifted the whole feeling for everyone there. They were amazing. The ceremony itself was short but so deep and meaningful – the way Luke looked at Sarah – was like there was no one else in the room.
Our wonderful local butler then drove us to all the most magnificent locations for photography! I was very spoiled for choice here! And not again in a hurry will I be back to shoot again! Boy and I grateful to have had the chance!!!
The reception was fun, relaxed and full of laughter. We were entertained by local dancers in which we were able to also join in and learn the steps. This was hilarious with everyone fumbling along trying to keep up but laughing the entire time!
Overall it was the most beautiful wedding – everyone added together to its perfection and sharing the moment with my friends as they pledged their lives together meant more than anything else.
