About 45 mins south of Newcastle is a tiny town called Catherine Hill Bay. Right next to a beautiful blue beach was my secret location!
I had such a fun day out at Catherine Hill shooting for our stylised Christmas shoot. I found this magical location a week before and I instantly knew I had to do something really creative there. I had a vision for a Christmas shoot as the exposures in camera came out looking a little like snow. I knew I wanted some happy, smiley kids in red Christmas outfit as it was a beautiful colour contrast for the background. I had inspiration for hundreds of ball-balls hanging from the trees and even know it took me a long time to hang them all, it was well worth it!! The final result was exactly what I wanted!
Thank you heaps to these beautiful girls Izzy and Zahlie for being my models for the day and being so happy to work with all my suggestions. Even Koda (the dog) helped us out by appearing in some of the photos and making it look like even more of a fairytale. This beautiful family had ravelled travelled all the way from the Blue Mountains to help me out on the day. You guys were rockstars!
