You will have the opportunity to be blindfolded while eating your meal to gain a taste of what it is like to live with low vision or blindness. This will be an unforgettable sensory experience.
Approximately 15,000 Australians suffer from an inherited retinal disease, not including age-related macular degeneration. We raise awareness and funds for scientific research, information and peer support, to seek a cure for people and families affected by retinal degenerative diseases.
On the night over $15,000 was raised for Cure Blindness Australia to fund research which leads to a cure for Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). Such a huge achievement! Thanks to Merewether Surfhouse for hosting the evening.
